Božava is a village settled around one of the bays on Dugi Otok's (the "long island") northeastern side. Bozava.info is an attempt to introduce the resort.

The coast in Božava is mostly stony and rocky, however, there are several sections that break that landscape with their gravel shores. These gravel beaches make it easy for anyone to enter and leave the sea. Somewhat off of the village, on the northeastern part of the beach (Cape Glavica, Strijan Bok) naturist bathers can enjoy swimming and relaxing. Thanks to the service of the hotels, Božava is connected with Saharun Beach by a mini train, thus making that dream beach well accessible from the village.

As there is a row of hotels on the southern side of the bay, Božava stands out from other settlements of Dugi Otok in terms of available services. Sport aficionados find tennis and volleyball courts and soccer field here. The village center has a grocery store and several restaurants, bars and a pastry shop welcome their guests along the riva by the harbor.
